AUF DIESER SEITE SEHEN SIE DIE VON MIR BIS JETZT SELBSTKREIERTEN PUPPEN.
Selbstkreiert, das heißt : zuerst habe ich die Puppen aus Künstlerplastillin modelliert, was mitunter einige Monate dauert, bis man rundum mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden ist.
Danach mache ich davon den Formenbau, das heißt ich baue eine Gießform aus Formengips, die wenn sie fertig ist, einige Wochen austrocknen muß.
Danach kann man den ersten Guß versuchen, wobei sich herausstellen kann, daß die Form nicht zu gebrauchen ist, und man muß die Prozedur wiederholen und es noch einmal versuchen.
Wenn es dann geklappt hat, kann man die ersten Rohlinge gießen.
Ab hier werden dann die gleichen Arbeitsvorgänge gemacht wie bei der Herstellung einer Repro-Porzellanpuppe also von einer gekauften Gießform.
"Selfcreated" means : At first I sculpture all parts for a complete doll out of a block of plastillin. It needs some month, till I´m satisfied all around !
Now I have to build the molds of each part. It´s a very difficult work, because you must do it in a special way and than it must dry many weeks and at last it´s possible that the molds are unserviceable and than you have to try it all again ! Than when all molds are okay, you can cast the first greenware parts.
Up from here you have to do the same work as when you make a reproduction porcelain doll (from bought molds).

My first selfcreated doll, which I had sculptured 1990, before I took part at a dollmaker class, was : "JASMIN", (one of a kind - not longer available).
"Jasmin" is 23,5" tall, the dress designed and sewed by myself.
