Jedes Kind hat ein Alter oder eine Phase in der es besonders süß ist ! Deshalb kam mir die Idee dieses Bild dreidimensional festzuhalten !
Wer hat sich nicht schon einmal gedacht : So süß wie mein(e) Kleine(r) jetzt ist, müßte er/sie bleiben !
Deshalb machte ich auch Portraitpuppen nach Kinderfotos.
Das dauerte in der Regel etwa 8 - 12 Monate. Da man ja nicht täglich die Inspiration hat um zu modellieren und ich ja auch noch an anderen Projekten arbeitete.
Zur Herstellung einer Puppe nach Fotos, benötigt man möglichst gute Fotos vor Allem vom Kopf des Kindes, von vorne und von der Seite.

Therefore once I had the idea to keep this impression like a picture, but in three dimensions !
Who has never thought "so sweet should stay my child for ever !"
Therefore I started to sculpture portrait dolls, after photos of children.
Usually it takes 8 - 12 month, because dont each day I have the inspiration to sculpturing at the dolls, and besides I´m also working on other projects.
For making such a portrait doll one needs some good photos, mainly of the haed of the child and at least one in profile (side view).
Die erste Puppe an der ich das Modellieren nach Vorlage probierte war "L I S I"

for which I received the GOLD MEDAL at the "EURODOLL" international doll competition in BREGENZ (Austria) in October 2000 (cat. self sculptured dolls).
Für die zweite Portraitpuppe die ich machte, "S O P H I E - M A R I E" habe ich beim "EURODOLL" Puppenmacherwettbewerb in Bregenz im Oktober 2001

Meine vierte Portraitpuppe "B I R G I T" , modelliert wie in den meisten Fällen nach dem Kind der Auftraggeberin, ging leider noch bevor ich sie bei einem Puppenmacher-Wettbewerb vorstellen konnte schon an die Besitzerin.

Meine sechste Portraitpuppe "JENNIFER" , modelliert wie in den meisten Fällen nach dem Kind der Auftraggeberin, übrigens die zweite Puppe von der selben Auftraggeberin (erste Puppe war "DANIEL" weiter oben).

Meine siebente Portraitpuppe "GABRIELE" , wurde nach einem Bild aus der Kindheit nach der Auftraggeberin selbst modelliert.

"BIANCA" ist übrigens auch die zweite Puppe von einer Auftraggeberin (die erste Puppe war "JACQUELINE").
